I played quite a bit tonight with Chris in the Wednesday Quarter Million on PokerStars. The first thing I said when I saw he was at my table, was “Thank you Chris for giving us all this opportunity to play poker for a living. Moneymaker is a huge reason poker is where it is today. I believe he has been a great ambassador for the game and is nice to everyone on the rail while playing.
This is not a tournament I usually play, but SWD805 said I had to play, so if your going to play, might as well put in your best effort. I built a nice stack with about 120 players left and was top 10 until the final table. I played a lot different in this MTT and learned a few things and definitely going to mix my play up.
I got into two pots with five players left and lost both of them, and was out in 5th for around $13,000. Going to grind more tables, I am more motivated then ever to win. I made a promise to someone that if I won $100,000 this month, I would buy him something and I really want to do it.

I just saw you own the final table at the 75$ after that A8 push. Gratz and happy thanksgiving
Was a great game, saw the entire final table went through. Nice effort, tough table though =O Even Bax was there.
Nick whats the deal regarding choosing some new students? Have you chosen them yet?
Moneymaker is the man.
What about the coaching?
Have you picked your students yet?
I’m really motivated, hope you pick me.
Whats up Nick,
Nice win today for 5k. I just graduated with a finance degree, want your life and could use some help with my game. I have nothing but time and drive,
Thanks
Taylor
What were your thoughts defending the BB with 79hh to moneymakers cutoff open? Is that standard for you? What is your flatting range and what is your 3b range in that spot?
Thanks
